Coventry House Clearance

Process

How the clearance works

The sequence below is the whole job, from first contact to empty rooms. It does not include cleaning, decorating or garden work unless those have been separately agreed.

Process

From first message to finished rooms

Each step has a decision attached to it. If that decision is missing — who can instruct the work, which rooms are included, what must stay — the next step should wait.

  1. 01

    Contact us

Send the postcode, property type, rooms involved, and anything that affects access. Photographs help. Use the quote form if you prefer to write it down once.

  2. 02

    Assessment

We work out what is being removed and how it comes out of the building. Some jobs can be quoted from a clear description and photographs. Others need a visit.

  3. 03

    Quotation

You receive a figure for the agreed scope. If the loft, garage or a locked room was not included, it is not in the price. Ask if anything is unclear before you accept.

  4. 04

    Clearance

On the agreed date we empty the spaces that form part of the job. Closed rooms and labelled keepers stay. Someone must provide access.

  5. 05

    Sorting

Contents are separated for reuse, resale, donation, recycling or disposal, according to condition and your instructions.

  6. 06

    Completion

The agreed areas are left clear. We do not assume you wanted the whole house done if the instruction was two rooms and a garage.

What helps the assessment

  • Postcode and property type
  • Number of rooms, and which of them are in scope
  • A rough sense of how full they are
  • Stairs, lift, parking, and the carry to the vehicle
  • Whether loft, garage, shed or garden items are included
  • Photographs, if you can take them safely

Probate and bereavement jobs have extra questions about documents and valuables. Start those on the probate or bereavement pages. Cost factors are listed on house clearance. Item handling is on recycling and reuse.

Next step

Start with the property details

You do not need a perfect inventory. The rooms, the access and who can let us in are enough to begin.
